Each of these bone china cups and saucers are made from an alabaster porcelain formula that was first implemented by the Lomonosov factory in 1744.  This type of  fine porcelain, called bone china, is so thin that it is translucent, but so strong it can be used daily.  All these cups and saucers are amazingly "light as a feather".  This particular cup and saucer was decorated with a floral wreath pattern and produced before 1991.  It was entirely hand painted and the pattern is so intricate that you can't believe someone would have the patience, much less the steady hand.  There are no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no stains, and the set has never been used.  The saucer measures 4.75 inches in diameter and the cup measures 3 inches tall.  Marked clearly with " Made in USSR" and the Lomonosov logo on the bottom of the cup and saucer.  Rated "excellent" condition.
