Each Lowell Davis porcelain sculpstone figure represents the artist's view of what he saw in the rural farm areas where he  lived.  All of the figures on our web site were released and then discontinued at least 15 to 20 years ago and all of them are in mint condition with their original boxes.  They were produced and hand painted in Scotland and each figure was distributed by Border Fine Arts, a division of Schmid in the USA.   This particular figure, called "Long Days, Cold Nights" is a Limited Edition numbered 804 of 2500.  Stamped marks on the figure include BFA Scotland/Schmid, copywright 1989, and the signature of Lowell Davis.  Since this is a limited edition,  it comes with the original large certificate of authenticity and the original informational story card.  The original wooden base is not connected to the figure but accompanies the figure.  Size, not including wooden base, is 4 inches wide at the base of the figure and 4.25 inches tall.  Original box in good condition.

Called "A Little Bit Of Shade", this Route 66 figure by Lowell Davis is very difficult to find intact because the thin sign pole was often broken and not as many were released.  This one is in mint condition, comes with the original story cards and box.  Lowell really captured the scenary of the old Route 66 highway with just 4 elements, a desert like landscape, a roadrunner, a jack rabbit, and the Route 66 signage.  Of course, you may never see all of these elements together, but they make a great figure.  Hand painted in Scotland.  Stamped marks include BFA Scotland, copywright Schmid 1990, and the signature of Lowell Davis.  Size is 3.5 inches wide at the base and 4.75 inches tall.  Original box in good condition. 

Well, this figure by Lowell Davis is certainly whimsical and was beautifully hand painted in Scotland.  Be sure to look at the close-up photos.  One mouse is playing a guitar and wearing a straw hat and the details are amazing.   The figure is in mint condition and comes with the original informational story card in the original box.  Stamped marks include copywright 1989, BFA Scotland/Schmid, and the signature of Lowell Davis.  Size is 3 inches wide at the base and 2.75 inches tall.  Original box in good condition.

This is a smaller figure by Lowell Davis called "Thirsty".  It was originally distributed to club members only.  It has the original paper label intact on the jug, a rarity on these, and is in mint condition.  It comes with the original box.  Informational cards were not issued with these smaller pieces.  Stamped marks on the jug include Red Wing, Lowell Davis, and copywright 1986 Schmid.  Size is 1.75 inches wide at the base and 3 inches tall.  Original box is in good condition. 

If you want a really authentic looking American country barn ornament, this is it.  Very highly detailed on all sides and not too heavy to hang on your Christmas tree.  Lowell Davis designed this ornament with great care for such a small figure.  It comes with the original box.  Stamped marks include BFA Scotland/Schmid ,copywright 1989, and the signature of Lowel Davis.   Informational cards were not issued with this figure.  Size is 2.25 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall.  Original box in good condition.

The "Privy" was always one of my favorite Lowell Davis figures.  It reminded me of all those camping and fishing trips with my parents.  The tiny rendition of the dog waiting in front is just perfect and a privy this nice would have been in back of a private home.  This tiny figure comes with the original box and in mint condition.  Stamped marks include Lowell Davis, Scotland, and Schmid copywright 1984.  Size is 2.5 inches wide and 1.75 inches tall.  Box is in good condition.
